Q: Can I pay by check?
A: We handle this on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us for special payment arrangements.
Q: How and when am I billed?
A: On the first of the month, our billing department charges your account for the number of active workers you had the last day of the previous month. If you sign-up in the middle of the month, we will prorate.
Q: What happens if my credit card is declined?
A: We will contact you if we were unable to charge your credit card on file. If contact attempts are unsuccessful within 15 days, then we reserve the right to deactivate your account until it is in good standing.
Q: What are the recommended system requirements for your time management software?
A: We recommend the following for a good experience:
- 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor
- 1 gigabyte (GB) RAM
- 25 MB of hard drive space
- Reliable high speed Internet
Q: Do I need to be connected to the Internet?
A: Easy 2 Time software can be run offline as well. Time clocking is available offline, but most other features are disabled. If you are offline and you enable the auto-login feature, you can start the program without being connected. Otherwise, the system will not be able to authenticate the user.
Q: Is my information safe?
A: We encrypt all communications using industry standard SSL encryption and certificates. Your account information is stored encrypted in our database. Also, if you elect to “auto-login”, we save that login information on your computer encrypted as well.
Q: Do you have a Mac version? iPhone version? Android version?
A: Not currently, but we are looking into the possibilities. Drop us a line and cast your vote for what you would like to see!
Q: How does the activity log work (passive time tracking)?
A: If Easy-2-Time is running on your computer, it is set to periodically capture whatever is in the title bar of the active window on your computer. The activity which was the most active in a given 15 minute period of time is posted to the system. The other activities are discarded. You can temporarily disable the Activity Log feature through the Quick Menu “Quick Setting” option. Activity Log is displayed in the Daily View where you can easily clock your time for the whole day or adjust existing time entries.
Q: How does my clocked time get posted after I come back from being offline?
A: If you left-click on the Easy-2-Time tray icon, while not being clocked in to some other task, it will show you a list of Pending time entries that you can then post.
